Vinschgau region

The Vinschgau is one of the most varied holiday regions in South Tyrol and presents you with fascinating opposites: from high plateaus around Lake Reschen to apple orchards in the mild and sunny lower areas, as well as the summit of the Ortler mountain, South Tyrol’s highest elevation (3,905 metres).

Situated at the Roman Emperor’s road called Via Claudia Augusta, this region is an important North-South link inside Europe. In addition, the Vinschgau is rich in tradition and culture.
